Thank you for choosing Penko and Associates for your child’s Speech-Language Pathology services. The hourly fee for Speech and Language assessment is $190.00 The hourly fee for treatment is $160.00 The hourly fee for the report is $190.00 Assessments do not include the report. The report is the necessary documentation of the background information, observation and assessment results and is prepared by the specialist to include results and recommendations. This is a separate fee and is required documentation of the assessment. Assessment Appointments may take more than one visit due to the complexity of your child and this is discussed with you at the time of the initial appointment by the professional. Treatment Treatment may be offered to the family in two ways, virtual or in person. We have seen families via the virtual platform if it is convenient for the family and suits their schedule. The fees reflect the preparation time prior to the session, carrying out the session itself and discussion with families during the session. This is an integral part of our service. It allows you to know exactly what you are working on until the next appointment. The fee based on time is $160 per hour $130.00- 45 minutes $95.00-30 minutes Meetings Meetings can be set at the request of the family to discuss the results and recommendations of the assessment, the ongoing treatment plan and or progress. It can also be set with the school. Meetings can take place upon request through the virtual platform The fees are: $190.00 per hour $142.50- 45 minutes $105.00 – 30 minutes

Karen received her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alberta, AB. Karen is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba. Karen has experience working in private practice and the public education system in Winnipeg. Her interests are in early-years intervention as she believes play, social emotional skills, and language are the foundation to a happy child. Karen continually strives to be a neuro-affirming practitioner with extensive knowledge and experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive and developmental delays, as well as articulation, phonology, and motor speech disorders.
